HOW YOUR TANDEM FLIGHT WORKS
From enquiry to landing — we guide you every step of the way.
Request your flight
Get in touch with us easily via the enquiry form, WhatsApp, or by phone. Together, we’ll discuss your preferred date, the flight package that suits you best, and all important details about your tandem flight. If you’re not sure which package to choose, we’ll be happy to help you find the right one.
Weather check and confirmation
Paragliding depends heavily on the weather, so we carefully check the conditions before every flight. Your flight will only be confirmed when the wind, visibility, and thermals are suitable. Safety always comes first — if the weather conditions are not right, we will reschedule your flight free of charge.
Meeting point and ascent
On the day of your flight, we meet at the agreed meeting point. From there, we head up together to the take-off area at Hochstein or Zettersfeld. Depending on the season, the ascent is either by taxi or with the Lienzer Bergbahnen cable car. On the way up, you can already enjoy the view and get ready for your flight experience.
Briefing
At the take-off site, your tandem pilot will give you a short and easy-to-understand briefing. We explain the process, show you the equipment, and answer any questions you may have. No previous experience is needed — your pilot will guide you step by step and make sure you feel safe and well prepared.
Take-off & flight
Then it’s time to fly: after a few safe, quick steps, you take off together with your pilot. Just a few seconds later, you are gliding silently above the Lienz valley, enjoying the unique view of East Tyrol and the Lienz Dolomites. Sit back, enjoy the feeling of freedom, and experience a moment you won’t forget.
Landing
After the flight, we land gently at the landing area. Your pilot will explain exactly what to do, so the landing is calm and safe. Afterwards, you can take a moment to enjoy what you’ve just experienced — and take home memories you’ll never forget.
*Paragliding is weather-dependent. For this reason, flights may sometimes need to be rescheduled at short notice. Your safety always comes first.
